Prayer (Namaz) is one of the five essential pillars of Islam. It holds great significance in the Islamic faith and is the second most important pillar. The habit of performing Namaz is crucial for Muslims, as it is the first thing they will be held accountable for. However, many people lack knowledge of the exact Salah time or azan time, and they often forget to perform Namaz due to worldly activities.
In response to this issue, the Tauqeet and I.T department of Dawat-e-Islami collaborated to launch a prayer times app. Developed with the blessings of Allah عَزَّ وَجَلَّ and based on the research of Ala Hazrat Maulana Al-Shah Imam Ahmad Raza Khan رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہ, this namaz app serves as a valuable tool for Muslims. It not only notifies users of the prayer times, but also helps them find the accurate qibla direction.
Prominent features:
- Prayer Timetable: Users can access the prayer timings for the entire month and share them with others.
- Jama’at Silent Mode: During Namaz time, this feature automatically silences your mobile. You can also manually set the silent duration.
- Prayer Timings Alert: Users receive notifications with the voice of Azan when any prayer starts.
- Location: The application detects your present location automatically using GPS. You can also set your location manually by providing longitude and latitude.
- Qibla Direction: The app includes a digital and reliable qibla finder, allowing users to accurately find the qibla direction anywhere in the world.
- Qaza Namaz: Users are reminded of their qaza namaz from time to time, helping them maintain their qaza namaz records.
- Tasbih Counter: This feature allows users to count their tasbihaat, serving as a useful tool for keeping track.
- Calendar: The app offers both Islamic and Gregorian calendars, enabling users to stay updated on Islamic events.
- Multiple Languages: The prayer times application supports multiple languages, allowing users to access the app in their native language.
- Different Jurisprudence: Users can access separate lists for both Hanafi and Shafai prayer timings, accommodating different Islamic juristic traditions.
- Share: Users can easily share the namaz app link on various social media platforms, such as Twitter, WhatsApp, and Facebook.
